MedSynergies provides access to practice management system software used for scheduling, registration, appointments, and charge entry.

As an Application Service Provider (ASP) for GE Centricity® Group Management (formerly IDX® Groupcast®), MedSynergies is well known among the GE user community for using Groupcast in optimal and proven ways to provide solutions for our clients. MedSynergies is recognized as GE Groupcast’s best performing client/partner. The lineage of the Groupcast practice management functionality is deep, and it is widely considered the most functionally rich practice management system on the market today.

MedSynergies also provides access to the GE Centricity® Practice Management System including hosting, maintenance, and support on a licensed basis.

We host the practice management system software including patient demographics and scheduling information as well as all of your claims and financial data. All transactional data is stored in our Enterprise Data Warehouse in order to be accessed and manipulated for analytical and reporting purposes. MedSynergies also provides Web hosting and email services.

MedSynergies has developed many interfaces from the practice management system to third party systems used in physician practices.

We can also develop new interfaces based on your business needs.

We offer our clients several networking options. MedSynergies permits Virtual Private Network (VPN) connectivity through the Internet and any of the many connectivity options available including DSL and Cable Modem. All MSI networks are redundant once our clients’ connectivity reaches our communication center. MedSynergies has a double redundant metro area network ring connecting our corporate office, our network connectivity center and our data center. It is also possible to configure multiple T1 circuits with multiple communication vendors and multiple central office sites to ensure redundancy of the last leg to our clients. These circuits are contingency circuits through different vendors. We utilize automatic failover and rerouting in our metro area and local area networks.

MedSynergies also provides secure access to our applications from any off site location using Citrix Terminal Service System.

MedSynergies provides technical support 24/7 through our help desk staff which is onsite 7 am-7 pm, Mon-Fri. and available via cell phone after these hours.

Developing a solid disaster recovery infrastructure requires significant investment and commitment of resource. As an example, at MedSynergies we have invested over $1 million during the past two years in disaster recovery IT infrastructure for our clients. Our investment includes the following disaster recovery components to manage the risk faced by healthcare providers:
