MedSynergies Surgical Division offers Human Resources Administration Services that afford our clients the opportunity to realize effective processes and reduced administrative burdens, thus improving the efficiency of their practices. As a healthcare management service organization (MSO), we offer an array of management and administrative services tailored to each client’s needs.

A summary of our Human Resource Administration Services includes the following:

1. Payroll Processing & Management

MedSynergies Surgical Division provides payroll services for clients, including bi-weekly payroll processing, payroll tax deposits and related tax returns, direct deposit and processing of insurance and 401(k) deductions. Our clients utilize automated timekeeping software and MedSynergies Surgical Division electronically imports the time records for each payroll with very little effort on the part of the client. This process also allows for automated tracking of Paid Time Off (PTO).

2. Benefit Program Planning and Administration

By maximizing strategic partnerships with health, dental, and disability insurance brokers as well as retirement plan brokers, MedSynergies Surgical Division is able to provide the expertise necessary to design and implement health and welfare programs that meet the competitive and financial goals of our clients. Our resources allow us to design and implement a simple medical insurance plan or a full Section 125 cafeteria plan with multiple options and lines of coverage. Once implemented, MedSynergies Surgical Division provides on-going plan administration including new hire and termination processing, coordination of annual renewals and open enrollments, review of monthly billing statements, and coordination of required reporting and testing for applicable retirement plans.

3. Policy Development and Implementation

MedSynergies Surgical Division provides customized employee policy and procedure design by developing Human Resource policies that best reflect the personality of our client organizations. This is accomplished by conducting a review of current policies and how they meet goals of management as well as articulating the management philosophy of a client organization. Once finalized, MedSynergies Surgical Division compiles and delivers a custom Employee Handbook.

4. Compliance Assistance

While MedSynergies Surgical Division does not have in-house legal counsel, we do seek outside assistance as-needed to provide expertise with compliance to state and federal employee regulations such as payday laws, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and MedSynergies Surgical Division also provides COBRA administration to its clients as part of the base menu of services.

5. Additional Services

MedSynergies Surgical Division maintains the expertise to act as a resource for other Human Resource needs such as development of job descriptions, assistance with recruiting and effective recruiting methodologies, compensation and market analysis, and other people-related activities. Additional services are separate from MedSynergies Surgical Division’s base Human Resource Administration Services and are priced based on the duration and scope of each project.
