MedSynergies Names IDX Executive to Head EMR Partnership and Business Development Initiative

DALLAS – May 10, 2005 – MedSynergies, Inc., a national provider of financial and technology services to physician practices, has named John Boland, a former IDX Corp. executive, to lead a new initiative on developing partnerships with EMR vendors and developing new services for small and medium-sized healthcare organizations.

MedSynergies provides revenue cycle and process management services to more than 650 physicians in 23 states. The company integrates a variety of leading software programs into the daily operations of medical practices.

Before joining MedSynergies, Boland served as the Director of Business Development for the IDX Groupcast team. He also was a senior executive in charge of implementations, support and operations for the IDX Groupcast brand. IDX, based in Burlington VT, is one of the largest suppliers of healthcare information technology, with more than 138,000 physician customers.

Boland will be based in Chicago, IL.
