Midwestern Cardiac Surgery Selects MedSynergies’ Customized Revenue Cycle Solutions to Help Drive Financial Results

Healthcare service and technology provider’s expertise and proven results drive deal to provide financial improvement for specialty cardiology practice

DALLAS – March 6, 2007 – MedSynergies Inc., a leading provider of healthcare revenue cycle services and technology, including advanced analytics and reporting platforms, announced Midwestern Cardiac Surgery Inc., will implement its revenue cycle management (RCM) services to streamline operations, increase revenue and improve the practice’s bottom line.

Under the three-year agreement, signed in January to be implemented in the second quarter of 2007, MedSynergies will manage billing, process claims and provide Web-enabled reporting and training, through customized applications of its healthcare-focused IT and service suite. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Midwestern Cardiac Surgery, a small practice performing hundreds of complex cardiac surgery and non-cardiac thoracic procedures annually, will benefit from reduced costs and accelerated clean claims submissions and payment processing; while patients will benefit from seamless check-in and billing procedures.
