MedSynergies and Systemware Join to Provide State-of-the-Art Revenue Cycle Management Solutions to Hospitals

Combined offering delivers enhanced capabilities to further streamline billing processes and accelerate cash flow

As part of the agreement, MedSynergies will deploy Systemware’s Centraspect HC Patient Financial Record solution to streamline clients’ billing processes and accelerate cash flow. MedSynergies’ commitment to provide best-in-class technology, combined with processes that continue to re-define the landscape for best practices, will provide significant financial results for its clients.

Introduced in October 2006, Systemware’s Centraspect HC Patient Financial Record supports revenue cycle management by managing claims remittance and secondary claims processing. The solution integrates with existing claims and a billing system to provide a 360 degree view of each patient’s financial interactions.

Systemware’s Centraspect HC Patient Financial Record captures billing, claim and payment information and delivers it in a single, unified view to support hospitals’ efforts in expediting the billing cycle. Coupled with MedSynergies’ expertise in revenue cycle management and Centraspect HC’s scaleable repository, powerful indexing and search functionality, this solution captures all documents, content and data related to remittance – including both paper and electronic explanation of benefits (EOBs) and electronic remittance advice (ERAs) and provides a logical view of all patient information organized in a universal patient chart.
